You have 1 minute to use words, phrases, and sentences to get your team to correctly guess the word on as many cards as you can in the deck without saying the actual word. Each card is worth 1 point and your team keeps the correctly guessed cards when the 1 minute timer sounds. Teams alternate guessing for 1 minute each until all cards in the deck have been correctly guessed. At the end of round 1, each team adds up their respective cards (points) and advance to Round 2.
After the points have been tallied from Round 1, the deck is shuffled and the same cards will be used for Round 2. Yes...there is a slight advantage to having a good memory. Teams alternate acting out the words on the cards in 1 minute increments attempting to get their teams to correctly guess the clue. As in Round 1, each card is again worth a single point. After the entire deck has been correctly guessed, each respective team tallies up their total points scored during Round 2.
After the points are tallied from Round 2, the deck is shuffled and the same cards will again be used for Round 3. In this round, the clue giver can only use a one-word-clue to get their team to correctly guess the word on the card. Again, each team alternates in 1 minute increments attempting to amass as many points as they can prior to the timer running out. A point is awarded for each correctly guessed card.
What would a guessing game be without a timer? Each turn takes one minute and there are multiple turns per round. To add a level of pressure, we went ahead and developed a fun, anxiety inducing animated timer (ticking time bomb) to ensure the clue-giver and their team can really feel the pressure.
Pro Tip: Screen cast from your mobile device to your television for maximum anxiety.
